Description[Saturday morning] An account of the journey via Culblair, Croy, and Calder Manse. They had many invitations at Geddes and at Nairn visited Miss Rose, Mr. Falconer and Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen. Catherine was unwell when they reached Brodie. [Thursday evening]. Alexander walked with Brodie, and spoke with Dr. Brichen, Brichen later dining at Brodie House. [Friday] Catherine was much recovered and they proceeded to Elgin. Alexander gives news of various people met there, and Catherine's activities.
