DescriptionHe will not detain her with a long letter, but reports on Charles's improved health. He notes harrowing and weeding. Mr. Munro came from breakfast and stayed for a drive accompanied by Mr. Allan and Charles. He gives an account of the children and sends late reports from Edinburgh for Mrs. Calder, including on the Emperor Alexander. He reports on discussion around 'Ross's shameful conduct'. He concludes by asking for family news and passing on greetings.
