DescriptionJournals kept by Sir Alfred Egerton documenting his scientific work. Three series (A-C) of diaries were kept. Volumes 7-9 in series B appear to be missing as does volume 2 in series C. The bulk of the diaries date from 1943-1959. The covering dates of the diaries are approximate and have been drawn from the diaries themselves, they do not always correlate with the dates given on the cover of each volume.
