Description | Fagge and Stevenson present the results of their experiments on animals utilising organic poisons and toxic substances, including digitaline, Helleborus [hellebore], upas [Antiaris toxicaria], 'alcoholic extracts of vomited matters' and 'alcoholic extracts of animal fluids to which digitaline had been added previous to extraction'. Includes a series of tables of experimental results, including experiments on frogs with simple solutions of digitaline and experiments with different preparations of Helleborus.
