Description | Dawkins writes on Ovibos moschatus or the muskox, describing its natural history, habits and present range, osteology, fossil remains, comparative measurements and its relation to Bootherium. Comparative measurements are presented in a series of tables.
Annotations in pencil and ink throughout. Includes two sketches of a skull fragment of a muskox, and sketches of the ground and geology of the area in which the fragment was found.
