CreatorBicket; J H (fl 1881)
Date1881-1882
DescriptionMills and Bicket continue their researches into chemical equivalences (see volumes 28 and 29 of the Proceedings of the Royal Society), conducting a series of experiments with the aim of 'determining on what terms manganous and nickelous sulphates might prove to be mutually equivalent'. They state that 'the particular equivalence we have examined has been equivalent precipitability of the sulphates, by sodic carbonate [sodium carbonate], from an aqueous solution.'

Marked on front as 'Proceedings' and 'Archives Jan 19/82'. Includes an uncorrected printed proof of the paper, dated 23 September 1882.
