DescriptionFollowing on from previous researches into chemical equivalences, Mills and Hunt propose 'to consider a case in which a metallic sulphate belonging to some other group [than metallic sulphates of the nickel group] is compared with the same standard, sodic carbonate [sodium carbonate] being the precipitant.'

Marked on front as 'Proceedings' and 'Archives Jan 19/82'. With an uncorrected printed proof of the paper, dated 23 September 1882.
