DescriptionDiscusses arrangements for regimental hospitals at Plymouth - discusses conditions to be treated in the hospitals (fevers, fluxions and fractures but not venereal disease) - Blagden to advise regimental surgeons - a small barn or house to be taken for a small pox hospital and arrangements for these patients - mentions Mr Gloucester who is to dispense medicines - Blagden to keep vouchers for all money spent - all patients with the Itch to be encamped at the rear of their Regiment until cured. Postscript: Regimental surgeons to follow Blagden's instructions implicitly - Blagden to show this letter to Commanding Officer.
