DescriptionDescribes his journey to the country. Gives family news of Mr Lewis and his wife,. Mr Blagden and Tom, their Aunt Nelmes.. News is that British have been defeated and 3500 taken prisoner or slain but gives little credit to it but republicans in the city rejoice. Paid his respects at Stapleton. Miss Daubeny is to marry Mr Mead next week. Has fed twice on Turtle. Will be moving on to Bradley.
