DescriptionConcerning safety of Biot's colleagues at Majorca, there as part of the commission for the equal meridian line. Biot's will be left alone by the British cruiser but cannot answer for the Barbary corsairs. He and Sir Joseph Banks will promote Biot's operation. Discusses instruments and measurements. Has not received the books Delambre sent, will have to wait for France to open communications again and then will also send Philosophical Transactions.
