DescriptionUnion Transport came in the last fleet from the West Indies [Caribbean] carrying 11 invalids of the 5th and 46th Regiments under the care of Mr Houston, Surgeon's mate of the 5th Regiment - three of these cases have been admitted to the General Hospital - discusses arrangements for their subsistance and onward transport. Discusses invalids from 48th Regiment aboard a private ship, the Governor Campbell two of whom have also been admitted to the General Hospital - discusses their subsistence and onward travel. There have been many deaths in the Herefordshire militia and General Haviland has ordered the worst cases into the General Hospital.
