Discusses the colossal head of Memnon. Discusses confirmation of a sighting of a water serpent in the seas of the United States, the people say it comes on shore to lay its eggs. Describes a lady in Liverpool who has lost her sight but who claims to be able to see by a sense of touch. Asks what Blagden and his French friends say about the fixing of Easter Day. Discusses Mr Durgate, does not expect much from him.
