Discusses accusations against him. Rejects proposition that President is to be the president of a debating club and defends himself using the statutes. If he has no support he will resign, "Cool headed people will consider the real advantage of the Society if it is judged for the advantage of it that I remain I shall. If not I shall retire to my plough without a fight." |
