TitleLetter from Claude Louis Berthollet to Charles Blagden
Date27 September 1807
DescriptionHas at last received the last volume of Mr Thomson, praises his work, passes on his regards and discusses translation into French. Would like to send first volume of "Memoires [de Physique et de Chimie] de la Societe d'Arcueil" for Blagden, Royal Society, Manchester Society, Mr Davy, Hatchett, Nicholson and Thomson but has no means to send them as yet. Distressed to hear of Blagden's melancholy, advises him to pursue the project he mentioned. Hopes to see him one day, recommends that he travel, Laplace and Biot send their compliments.
