TitleLetter from John Blagden, Gray's Inn to Charles Blagden, Physician to the Army, Plymouth Dock
Date7 June 1782
DescriptionMolesworth has informed him that he has the warrant ready but no money to pay for it. He has been ill with influenza, his wife has been ill also. Thanks him for coming to see the children. Mark has been replaced by a German. Asks for Blagden's advice as he is considering leaving London to live in Glamorganshire near the iron works and to manage the works. Does not feel suited to the legal profession as he cannot bring himself to encourage people in litigation which may be avoided. Gives news of Westminster parliamentary election, contest between Lord Hood and Sir Cecil Wray.
