Thanks him for his letter and his account of his journey to Edinburgh. Jokes with him about his climb to his garret lodgings. His Aunt would like a full account of his health and his Uncle would like an account of his studies. Has no news from Alderley. Enquires after Tom Morgan. Brother Tom intends to write to him next week. Gives news of all their family's health and other news from Bristol of deaths and marriages.
