DescriptionIndebted to Nelson for the service he has rendered to him and to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in defending one and recovering the other on 1 August 1799. Gives Nelson his sword (worth £3000) in remembrance of his obligation to him for his delivery of Naples and the fortresses from the enemies who held them. Expresses his gratitude to the King of England and to the nation.
