DescriptionSends his respects and thanks him for his recommendations. Gives news of Peter Parker who is now on the Flagship, the Chatham. Describes an obstinate ague that he has been treating affecting the troops. "Rhode Island called the Montpellier of America is remarkably pleasant and healthy in the summer only". Has observed only one aurora borealis. Gives brief details of rebel forces gathering.
