Says that since the rioting time the British Museum has been "a compleat garrison" - describes the soldiers camp in the grounds of the Museum. He guesses they will stay another fortnight. Praises the officers and the lack of damage to the gardens. Banks has been busy preparing for Miss Hugessens marriage to Mr Knatchbull. Renews his application to Blagden and asks him to write to his friend in America [about Mr Ingrin].
