Date | 3 September 1904 |
Description | Encloses copies of the Report of the Committee inquiring into the administration of the existing Parliamentary Grant by the Meteorological Council, whether the grant should be changed, and any further recommendations to increase the utility of the grant. Summarises the Report's recommendations, mostly dealing with the administration of the Meteorological Council, more staff, free telegraphic facilities from the Post Office, instrument costs, and re-instating the grant to the Ben Nevis Observatories.
