TitleLetter from Joseph Lister, 12 Park Crescent, Portland Place, London, to [Sir William Huggins,] President of the Royal Society
Date31 October 1901
DescriptionEncloses a memorial from Sir William Roberts-Austen, entrusted to Lister for presentation to Council of the Royal Society, should the topic (tenure of office for Royal Society Officers) come up. It may be brought forward at today's meeting and therefore Lister sends the document so that Huggins and the Officers are aware of it and might use it. Roberts-Austen intended to get more signatures at the BAAS Glasgow meeting, but was obliged to leave because of ill-health.
