TitleCopy letter from [James Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society], to Sir Frank Heath, KCB; Department of Scientific and Industrial Research; 16/18 Old Queen Street, S.W.1.
Date5 March 1925
DescriptionInforms Sir Frank Heath of the general argument brought forward when the Royal Society's Council considered the Wireless Telegraphy and Signalling Bill: that the Bill would perpetuate current regulations that are irksome to scientific experiments, and intensify these troubles. Provides five specific instances of this.

Suggests that 'the Post Office does not in the least understand the way in which science advances'. Compares the difficulties that experimentors in Radio Telegraphy face in England as opposed to other countries that promote experimentation in wireless telegraphy.
