TitleCopy letter from Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary of the Royal Society, to Professor Charles Scott Sherrington
Date3 December 1906
DescriptionExpresses pain at the issue [the dispute surrounding Charles Walker's paper and the accusation made by Walker in his letter] and hopes to bring it to a close. Notes that Walker has sent no withdrawal or apology. Because of this, thinks that it is impossible for Geikie to consent to have an interview with Walker, as Sherrington suggests. Declines to directly corespond with Walker at all. Notes that all communication regarding his paper ['The Life History of Leucocytes'], which has now been sent to referees, must go through Sherrington.
