Description | Memorandum created by the Advisory Council of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Discusses the conference of Research Associations held on 6 April 1922, and that they sanctioned a British Empire Exhibition to be held at Wembley Park in 1924. The Organising Secretary of the Exhibition, Mr U. F. Wintour, arranged to speak to numerous people regarding scientific exhibits. Summarises what has been discussed in the first three meetings: the Advisory Council will ask the Royal Society to organise a large exhibit dealing with pure science, and that sectional exhibits should be organised with groups of industries. |
