DescriptionUnofficial minutes sent by [Henry Walter George] Cole of the Exhibition Division, Foreign Office and Board of Trade, to the Royal Society. Informs the recipient that the Treasury will ask Parliament's approval for £150,000 towards Government participation in the forthcoming British Empire Exhibition. Informs them that much of this will be used to create a suitable building. Hopes that the Government will help organise a science exhibit.
