DescriptionInforms [Herbert Hall] Turner that he has written in the name of the Royal Society to Mr Chamberlain, asking him to use his influence to prevent the West Australian Government's breach of faith [in forcing Perth Observatory to cease work on the International Astrographic Chart]. Also notes that he has written to the Agent General for West Australia [Sir Edward Horne Wittenoom]. Asks Turner to relay this news to Mr [William Ernest] Cooke [Government Astronomer of West Australia].
