Date[28 September 1917]
DescriptionNotes the conditions and objects of the anthropological expedition funded by [Peter] Jeffrey Mackie:

1. The object of the expedition - to investigate the tribes of Central Africa, paticularly Uganda
2. That it will be carried out by the Reverend John Roscoe, as soon as conveniently possible
3. That if it is delayed, the interest of the [Mackie] Fund will also go towards the expedition
4. That if Roscoe is prevented from leading the expedition, then it should be entrusted to another anthropologist appointed by the Royal Society
5. That once the expedition is completed, the scientific results should be published in a book, and initial reports published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society, or the Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute.
