DescriptionNotes that he has just heard from a newspaper office that oil has been discovered in Uganda, and that the newspaper asked him if he had any information on this discovery from their [Mackie Anthropological] Expedition. Notes that he has none, and asks if [John] Roscoe mentioned the discovery of oil in any of his letters to the Royal Society. Notes that Roscoe is expected home around Christmas.
