DescriptionInforms them of a proposal received from Mr [Herbert] C. Robinson, Director of Museums, Federated Malay States, for establishing Research Studentships for the Malay States. Encloses a copy of Robinson's letter [CD/58/3]. Explains that the object of the proposed studentships is to help young scientific men spend a year or two in the Malay States studying a specified piece of research work in medicine, zoology, botany, anthropology, economic forestry, geology, or mineralogy.
