DescriptionDiscusses the financial position of the National Physical Laboratory, which has grown rapidly and expanded its operations, but is causing the Royal Society financial difficulty as they are responsible for monetary defecits. Resolves that the Royal Society and the National Physical Laboratory should still be close, but that they should appeal to the Treasury to bear more of the cost. This resolution was carried unanimously.
