DescriptionExplains that Sir John Dewrance spent time at the Royal Society yesterday, talking about a proposed Alloys of Iron Research Committee. Notes that Dewrance spoke to Jeans about this at the Armourers and Brasiers Luncheon.

Explains that Dewrance would like the Royal Society's blessing in the shape of appointing a Fellow as a member of the Committee. Also discusses Dewrance's eagerness to give a monetary gift to the Society which could be used for research on alloys of iron.

Arranges for Jeans and Dewrance to have a meeting.
