| Description | Long and detailed letter outlining proposed actions with regard to Fairley's Tata Professorship in Tropical Medicine for the Royal Society approval. He gives the background to the advertising of the post and his selection. Upon the termination of his services he wrote to the selection committee and to Sir Dorabji Tata on his treatment. On the advice of his solicitors, he dispatched a memorial to the Government with three alternative courses of action they might adopt, with a six week deadline for a response. Both his own prospects and the future of his research on Dracontiasis in monkeys has been hampered by the lack of co-operation from the Bombay Government. He asks that the Tropical Diseses Committee is informed that he plans to put his case before the British Medical Association. |
