They agreed that a permanent Medical Parliamentary Committee should be established as soon as possible, and that it should be formed of representatives appointed by existing organisations or Societies dealing with different aspects of the National Health. Goes over the aims of the Committee. Encloses a copy of its resolutions [CD/71/3]. Notes that further information can be found in Dr [Arthur] Latham's speech, published in the Lancet 10 May 1919. Asks if they can attend the first meeting of the new Committee, held at the College of Ambulance, Vere Street, W.1. on Friday 11 July 1919 at 3pm. |
