DescriptionGodfrey-Hanckewitz copies out a letter sent to him by Caspar Neumann regarding his paper on ambergris and whether it might be published in Philosophical Transactions, as well as Godfrey-Hanckewitz's response to Neumann. Godfrey-Hanckewitz describes his own further experiments in distilling ambergris and obtaining very little salt, confirming Neumann's results.
