Description | Molyneux describes a method of extracting a bladder stone from an eleven- or twelve-year-old girl by gently dilating the neck of the bladder without making an incision. Molyneux had previously suggested this non-invasive procedure in an earlier paper in Philosophical Transactions vol. 17, no. 202 (July and August 1693). Figure of stone attached.
