DescriptionThe author describes a remedy created by Mr Duval of Rue Simon le France [Paris, France] that can treat numerous illnesses, including pleurisy, fever, dropsy, asthma, seasickness, migraines, gout, and it eases pain during childbirth. The remedy must generally be taken after a purge and the patient must not eat immediately before or after taking the remedy. The recipe for the medicine is not given.
