On the reverse are observations of a horizontal eclipse of the moon, seen on 26 May 1668, copied from 'the mathematical register of the company, which meets in the King's library at Paris'. Includes one figure of a number of fish drawn inside each other with the caption '13 May 11 June 29 June 13 July', labelled on reverse as 'Colonel Blunts fishes'.
