DescriptionDe la Chaumette describes several inventions, many of which are listed in the title of the paper. Three pages in the text include figures.

Inventions discussed include the following:
- a spring to avoid shipwrecks caused by stormy winds
- a watch that is wound up by a ring so that no dust can enter into it
- a cannon that can be charged at the breech
- a spyglass made to spring out of the case
- a pair of buckles without any tongues, made from a single piece of metal
- a flask which goes through the cartridge of a gun and primes it at the same time
