DescriptionAccount of an appearance of the Sun and Moon emitting long tails streaching to the horizon. Observed on 8 December at Altorff near to Nurnberg [Germany]. Phenomenon lasted all night, the sun arising the next morning with a similar tail. Includes drawings of the comets.
