Lists Committee business -- a report from the Secretary that Major Patton would not be able to carry on his investigations [on Sandfly fever in China], but that Dr Hindle could; a letter from Patton indicating his possible appointment to a chair of entomology; inability of Dr J D Duncan to accept the appointment to the Filariasis Commission, and the suggestion that Dr A W Grace be invited in his place. p137-8.
