DescriptionLists members present, with Sir J Kirk in the Chair. Lists Committee business -- 1. The signing of previous minutes. 2. Letters from the Colonial Office agreeing to the extension of Capts Hamerton and Bateman's stay in Uganda. 3. Report from Dr Bradford that Dr Carpenter would be joining the Commission as entymologist, and that leave was being sought for Lieut Fraser to join as well to continue Hamerton and Bateman's work. 4. Statement from Capt Hamerton on recent work. 5. Resolution to suggest that the War Office note the service rendered by Hamerton and Bateman. 6. Decision that Capt Mackie's name should not appear among authors of papers written after his departure.
