Lists committee business -- the minutes of the Royal Society Council appointing the committee; a resolution to inform the Admiralty, War Office, Board of Trade of the Committee's existence; a discussion of directions which committee investigations might take; a resolution that two sub-committees be appointed including investigations in 'telephony, wireless telegraphy and general physics', and investigations into chemistry; a resolution to send a circular letter to university laboratories asking for assistance in the manufacture of drugs and other medicines for wartime; agreement that all communications be made through the Royal Society; agreement to communicate notice of the appointment of the committee to the press. p1-2.
