1. Read and signed minutes of previous meeting

2. Further to information received from the Borad fo Trade, it was garedd thqt the Royal Society should not intervene with the Military authorities for the exemption of "Works Chemists."

3. Agreed the Brewer's Chemists, as such should not be recommended by the Society for exemption from Military Service

4. Four applications for exemption from Military Service referred by the Reserved Occupations Committee were considered by the Executive Committee and decisions taken (persons concerned were S G Clifford; Herbert Ehrhardt; H Wilson; H Housley

5. Seventeen further cases were duscussed, and decisions taken (Clifford Bean; A Embleton; Louis Smith; James Walker; H F V Little; M Paige; M S Salamon; T Campbell; F J Young; A R Tankard; J H Davidson; E B Willis; E Atkins9on Smith; R W Ingram; L Fletcher; Leonard Harding; Alfred Levey )
