1. ' That, in accordance with a previous decision, the appointment of Dr Schoenberg terminate on 30 September 1942
2. That in view of the duties which Dr J F Allen still performs at the laboratory, he be given a special grant of £100 a year from the Mond Fund, the grant being regarded as an honorarium made for the performance of such duties at the laboratory and not being regarded as coming within the superannuation scheme. This arrangement, if approved, is to be dated as from 1 October 1940, being from the time at which Dr Allen's fees from the Ministries of Aircraft Production and Supply became in excess of his stipend.
3. That Dr J F Allen be allowed leave of absence from about the end of June to the end of September 1942 to visit the USA at the request of the Ministry of Supply.
