DescriptionInforms Moffat that the Tropical Diseases Committee has exonerated Dr Ross [in the dispute over a paper published by Dr Low drawing on Ross' work]. Informs him that the Committee has already appealed to the Government of India for extension of Dr Grieg's leave. Notes that 'the Committee cannot on that account consent to a gentleman, with whose despatch to Uganda they had nothing to do, being placed at the head of the investigation into Sleeping Sickness'.
