Asks the Society to investigate the transport of sample infected animals to the UK. Notes that Capts Hamerton and Bateman have chosen to return to the UK at the end of the year. Describes the current work at the laboratory and avenues of future research. Hopes to increase the staff at the laboratory and to work with the Uganda Veterinary Department. p16.
