Most Gracious Sovereign

We your Majesties most dutifull and Loyal Subjects, the President, Council and Fellows of your Royal Society of London for improving Natural Knowledge, though deeply affected with the loss of your Royal Father, our late most Gracious King & Patron, yet cannot but take part in the universal Joy upon your Majesty's happy & peaceable Accession to the Crown.
