| Citation | Monsignor Galliani Archbishop of Thessalonica & Capellan Mayor of the kingdom of Naples.
This Gentleman is recommended to the President in a Letter from Martin Folkes Esqr VPRS dated at Rome Septr 11 1734 NS as a Prelate worthy by his great Learning of all Sorts, & his particular regard for the English Nation. Mr Folkes says farther, he dares vouch him to the Society for a most worthy person, & in all Sorts qualifyed as he every way pursues those Ends for which the Society was founded. He is therefore recommended to the Royal Society as a Candidate by us whose names are underwritten |
