CitationMr Francis de Zach of Dover Street LLD Astronomer to his Highness the reigning Duke of Saxe Gotha, and member of the Academies of Lyons, Marseilles, and Dijon, being desirous of becoming a member of the Royal Society, we, whose names are underwritten, do from our personal Knowledge recommend him as a person well versed in various branches of useful Knowledge, and particularly in Mathematics, and Astronomy, and likely to become a useful and valuable member.
