Author of the following and other papers: - 'Van't Hoff's Hypothesis and the Constitution of Benzene' (Phil Mag, 1888); 'The Dissociation of Amine Vapours,' with Mr Burch (Journ Chem Soc, 1889); 'Researches on the Chemistry of the Camphoric Acids' (Proc Roy Soc, 1889); and the following papers in the Journal of the Chemical Society: - 'A New Monobrom Camphor,' 1890; 'Production of Camphor from Turpentine' (with Mr Stockdale), 1890; 'On Camphor' (with Mr Gardner),1891; 'On Turpentine' (with Mr Gardner), 1891; 'Sulphoni-Derivatives of Camphor' (with Mr Cousins), 1891; 'Phosphorus Derivatives of Camphene' (with Mr Gardner), 1894; 'Products of the Oxidation of Camphene,' 'Camphoic Acid and its Derivatives' (with Mr Gardner), 1896; 'Halogen Derivatives of Camphor' (with Mr Gardner), 1897; 'On Carvenol, its Reactions and Products' (with Mr Hartridge), 1898; 'Action of Sulphuric Acid on Fenchone' 1899; 'The Stereo-chemical Formulae of Benzene,' 1902.
